Course Description
This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to perform rescue procedures from a live low voltage panel, including isolation techniques, hazard control and safe rescue practices.

Entry Requirements / Pre-requisites
Students undertaking UETDRMP018 - Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel must be able to meet the practical, identification, pre-requisite and learning requirements of the course.
- Provide evidence of a current and valid HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (which includes CPR) or HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation Statement of Attainment before commencing this training.
- Provide an official form of photo identification, such as a driver licence, passport or student ID.
- Have the physical capability to complete practical demonstration skills, including CPR.
- Have the language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills needed to follow ordered safety steps, read emergency signs, safety labels and rescue instructions, complete simple emergency/training records, communicate clearly in emergency situations, read numbers such as voltage or time, and access online learning resources.
- Have access to a computer, smart phone, tablet or other internet-connected device to complete online learning and assessment tasks where required.
Online pre-course learning and theory assessment may be required before the face-to-face practical session.
Course Details
Course Duration: Refresher: at least 2 hours face-to-face contact time. Face-to-face: at least 3 hours face-to-face contact time. Online with face-to-face assessment: at least 30 minutes face-to-face contact time. Course durations can vary; these are minimum possible durations.

Delivery: Face-to-face practical training or online with face-to-face assessment.

Assessment Activities
Assessment includes written and practical tasks.
- Inspect and position LVR kit and equipment.
- Perform a simulated rescue from a live low voltage panel.
- Complete a written theory assessment consisting of multiple-choice questions.
